Looking at one monument from under anotherby frggygrlComment by dtremain: IMO, the sky in this looks overprocessed - on my screen, there are distinct arched bands across the sky above the opera house. There is some halo'ing (white edge) on the tower roof and top girder of the bridge arch. Also, there is a large discrepancy in lighting between the right and left sides of the photograph. This also creates competing focal points. I would suggest going for a "framed opera house", using the bridge arch, and the round tower up to just to the left of the window and down to about the 2nd tan stone.
I like the idea of the two monuments and looking from one to the other, but the lighting at this angle and time of day just isn't cooperating with you. |

Reflections of Old Parliamentby frggygrlComment by Issus: Building is not centred, would have been nice to see it cropped to just the left of the big tree on the right side. This would get the building centred and remove the distraction of the dark spot. |

Reflections of Old Parliamentby frggygrlComment by northebound: I like the symmetry of this shot - except for it feels weighted towards the left. I think the shot would have been more effective if it was cropped just to the inside of the big tree on the right. |

Reflections of Old Parliamentby frggygrlComment by SoulJance: nice reflection in the water. I would try this with a tighter landscape crop, and maybe a little bit earlier to get even more light into the sky (yeah I know its meant to be a night shot but we can bend the rules right?) |
