I'm conflicted by this image. The separate elements are incredible. The dew on the web is gorgeous, and dof is perfect, the b/w a great choice. But I feel that all the elements are fighting each other. I don't know where to look. I'm drawn to the leaf on the far end of the bench but am interrupted in my reverie by the web. I want to explore the web but the leaves on the ground call to me. I would love an even shallower dof on either the web (to highlight the bench) or on the bench (to render the web a gauzy filter).

Wonderful portrait. Oddly, I can't tell if this is Don or a portrait for the posthumous challenge. Either way one of the best portraits I have seen and it gets better every time I look at it. 8

An interesting subject. Not a portrait that you would see everyday. Although the mask is interesting, The eyes make the shot. They should be at the top 1/3rd of the image. An even tighter crop would be better IMHO.
