I love the light in the foreground and the way it contrasts with the dark sky in the background. The solitary figure of a man on the path combined with a striking and meaningful title takes this image to another level.

Wonderful location. Usually I love b/w, but in this instance, I'm wondering if going in color might have been stronger. Love the sense of scale here, Maybe a tiny bit of dodging on the man and the area to camera left, just to pop him a TEENSY bit more.

Catlike ambiguities: one curtain or two or is cat between or behind or looking fore or aft. A cat is always hidden, no matter how many "eyes" are patterned into the curtain. Posthumousy feeling of almost but not quite, I must change my life.
