This was in my top 3 with a 9, I spent an hour reading about the tse 17mm this morning looks like a great lens, I see gyaban dominates with it on here apart from a pic from you and bear. What you're calling "some distortion in the clouds" isn't, really./ It's important to make a distinction between the apparent elongation of shapes at the edge of the visual field and actual distortions brought about by a lens. You have to realize that the angular coverage of the 17mm TS-E is REALLY extreme, much more than a conventional 17mm. When you're shifting out to the edge of the image circle, that's more like wjat you'd be seeing on the periphery of a 10mm conventional WA on your FF sensor.
