In Memoriamby capallComment by Nuzzer: Greetings from the Critique Club.
First impressions are of the big blurry line running right through the shot.
Technically this is not bad. The exposure is good and generally the composition is ok - just the gun is far too prominent with the POV you've chosen. His face is a little bit in shadow and that is a shame as we have a couple of good leading lines taking us up to the face.
Artistically I like the falling snow, it adds a certain something. Other than that this is just a shot of a statue so not much more artistic merit to it. Having said that, it's easy to take a bad pic of a statue and you've done an reasonable job with this one.
In summary this is an ok shot and scored around the right range although I think it should have got a low 5 rather than a high 4. It seems I get your shots in the CC a lot lately - 2nd in a row isn't it?
Feel free to PM me if you have any queries.

Hoplite Headwearby capallComment by Nuzzer: Greetings from the Critique Club.
First impressions are that this a freaky subject but could be more dramatic
Technically I think there is quite a conflict between the white snow and the dark masks. Because of this I find the snow grabs my attention more than the masks. Composition is good. A square crop may have allowed you to use more screen space and thus let us see a bit more of the detail in the masks.
Artistically this has great potential. For more drama I might have looked at a B&W conversion.
In summary a good shot that shows something unique but doesn't quite fulfill it's potential when it comes to making a dramatic statement.
Feel free to PM me if you have any queries.
