This is almost identical to another shot I have already commented on. Really, the same goes for this shot as the other one. I think the the focus and clarity are really good, and the lighting is nice. Beautiful color. I wonder though if it might add some visual appeal had the 'V' of the veins been coming out of a corner or something. Maybe just a bit too centered? ~Heather~

Increasing the contrast would give this more impact. It looks a bit flat at the moment.

This looks as it has just been pulled from the 1960's
Would make an excellent illustrative picture to go with an education/childcare article and on I would have selected. I adjusted the curve in PS to make the whites - white and that really pulled it out.

Nice idea - well executed - only problem is the calculator been around for along time (not sure how old you are but im sure you used paper and pen as your calculator and most likely your fingers and toes

would of been better if the floor was flat as well

This image would have been improved by just simply hitting "Auto Levels" in photoshop. But even then the lightning is not very good, flash shadows prominent, focus rather poor or rather it's grainy like if it's blown out of a larger image and resized up to this size. Leaving any compositional/motive values aside, the tecnical aspects brings it down.
