June nightsby gadionComment by bohemka: Ahhh, I used to live there. Well, not in the castle or St. Vitus, but in Vrsovice. A very nice shot with pleasing tones. Nice long exposure to get the most out of the Vltava. Oh the memories. |

June nightsby gadionComment by kenskid: I would give this an 8 but it has some sort of green tint color on it. Ha, just kidding! |

Pražský Hradby gadionComment by RamblinR: I think this would have been a much stronger image if you had leveled it and cropped away some of the water. |

Pražský Hradby gadionComment by WriteHeart: I like this picture. It does feel like it's tilted a little bit though. But I love the color of the sky. |

Pražský Hradby gadionComment by jamesgoss: I like the sharp lines of the buildings, but I don't think the water is really adding anything to the shot.
One of the things keeping this from being a stronger image is that the horizon appears to be leaning quite a bit. A simple rotation would fix that. |

Misurina by gadionComment by yakatme: Congratulations on your ribbon. I look through the top 20 to 40 images from every single challenge and I was curious about something with your entry...Did anybody mention the tilted horizon? Unbelievably, no! I couldn't pass on offering a constructive comment on something that, on one hand, I think is extremely important, but on the other hand, nobody mentioned. So, how important could it be? I still think that it is important and maybe you got away with it because the best reference to judge the horizon, the waterline, was obscured so much. Then again, maybe you got away with it because it is a beautiful picture with a great composition. You certainly deserve points for the low perspective and the composition with the group of flowers bottom right leading your eye to the mountain peak top left. Overall great job, but I felt it would be wrong if the tilted horizon was not mentioned as something that could be improved upon. |
