Approaching the Moonby laserComment by wkoffel: I'm sure I'm saying the same thing many others have, but the blue border costs you at least a point in this challenge. It's quite distracting. Also, I find the photo a bit soft to really show off the texture of the moon at this magnification. |

Approaching the Moonby laserComment by KiwiChris: I assume you've got an slr mount on a telescope for this? I think I'm getting lens envy as I've mucked around with moon shots in the past and could never get the focal length for this sort of detail. Impressive. |
