First shoot.....the LOOK!!!by LonnieDComment by McCarlie: You should have brought the light closer to the subject (or you could have used something like a bed sheet to diffuse the light, or both), to reduce the sharpness of the shadow cast on the back wall. |

First shoot.....the LOOK!!!by LonnieDComment by sweetbread: The shadows in this shot are overwhelming. Her outfit is dirty at the knees and her eyes are not showing which is very important for a modeling agency to see. Looks like she would like to be a model though but I have to give this shot a 3. |

Come into my Gardenby LonnieDComment by sfalice: LOnnieD - thank you so much for putting down your steps in processing this delightful composition. It makes my job much easier.
Now, the first thing that I noticed in this composition was the gray sky. Probably not what you hoped a viewer would see. But there it was. When this sky is cropped out, you still have a fine composition which shows off the entryway and the garden quite nicely. It also makes a strong feature of that pleasant peaked roof in the background. Then, if, indeed, you bring your crop in on the sides to show just those topiary trees in the foreground, it also accentuates the entrance nicely.
Just thoughts. there are so many ways to look at an image, especially one as nice as this one is.
Nice to see your work again. I'll look forward to seeing more.
