The harsh lite is a distraction Try covering the shooting area to block out the sun . Then boost the levels and contrast and saturation of the overall image in PS. I like the textures in the shot.

Centered composition - yes. Subject interest - weak. This image holds no interest to a viewer. Work on creating images that draws a viewers attention.
