Comment by Louis:
Nice portrait, though I think "leading lines" is a stretch... let's say "rule of thirds". ;) 7

Comment by sadiebird:
at the time, we were really trying for a more creepy, undead thing but, obviously it didn't work. the sun was in her eyes and she couldn't look into the lens. if i could fix it, i'd crop tighter and make it smoother. i'd also probably go with more pastel purple than pink. i learned a lot from this one, though.

Comment by ursula:
I think, for this image to work, both pins would need to be in perfect focus, or, one of them would have to be way more out of focus. Also, the background needs to be lighter. And last, the placement of the pins leads the eyes out of the image (to the right) rather than into it to explore the possibilities. I hope this helps. ~4

I don't get the feeling of "Light on White".

Comment by LN13:
The focus on the heads of the pins could have been sharper.

Comment by bassbone:
nice simple image - i would have liked a little better lighting - it seems slightly underexposed- and possibly both pin heads to be in focus

Comment by Keith Maniac:
Awwww... so cute. I like the tones in this one. I like the contrast of the dark hands against the light-toned chick. After reading your photographer's comments, I like the shot even more. I'd say this is under rated. Sorry to see it scored below 5.
