thanks! i really like this shot and it was absolutely born out of frustration. i made probably 20 "47-steps" trips trying to find an interesting shot and nothing came together. i was worried that people would question whether it was really 47 steps from my door (it was) but it didn't come up.

nice lighting! i wish that the white had been closer to her all around, especially on the lower left hand side of her face. i also feel for this challenge that the makeup could have been a bit more dramatic. but a great attempt!

Do not despair. A lot of my entries are because " I Just don't have anything better"! I did not vote on this topic, but if I had This would have gotten a 6. The color, lighting and focus are acceptable, and I kinda like the unvarnished raw reality of the shot! The mask has a eerie "twilight zone" sort of personality to it!
Keep on posting your entries!! Not everybody here is a professional perfectionist with high quality expensive equipment! Some ( perhaps a lot of us ) simply like to take pictures and this is a great venue to enter, enjoy and improve what we can do with what we got!
