What a great shot. If spot editing was allowed I'd get rid of the trees/twigs seen along the bottom edge but there isn't much else to do to improve this. This is one instance where I love the glare and spots from the sun. Great shot. Shoud be a magazing ad.

The glare from the sun is a little too strong. The sky appears to be a sparkling blue and I love how the tennis ball is balanced.

Thank you for offering a different interpretation of the challenge. Many confused this challenge with one about flags, or used it as an opportunity to be excessively patriotic. So, I appreciated your submission even more because it did not pursue these themes.

Excellent memory; Nostalgia meter at 100% and I think done in a universal manner that everyone of various cultures will get. The DOF is excellent. I like the slight blur on the foreground of the ring but the sharpness of the inside plus the photo in the background. In my top 5 so far. After reviewing all the photos, this still ended up near the top. I'll stick firm with the 9 rating.
