This is (IMHO) probably the best almost shot of the challenge. This is a nice picture. The plants are in nice focus and you have a great DOF looking into the garden. Oh and there\'s a bubble there.

Now if the bubble was in focus this would be it. Tough shot to get perfect and a great attempt. Bonus for difficulty!

The background is very busy, and in addition, those plants are sharp and pointy, which would be a bad thing for a bubble. Your camera is focused on the plants, and not the bubble, which should have been the main focus. A narrow(er) dof would have helped to blur out the plantlife.

Certainly the most creative image of the challenge. Having the background in focus through the bubble and the bubble itself out of focus is a terrific idea. Almost looks like something out of the classic movie "Wizard of Oz".

great photo! Normally I'd think the bubble should be in focus, but I like how the background's sharpness sets up the soft focus, dreamish aspect of the bubble, which matches your title well.

I would have prefered the bubble in focus and the background blurred for this challenge. There is certainly artistic merit to this image the way that you have it.
