Is this the final version? Reason I ask is I would give it a 7 as is and an 8 if you could have worked some levels magic so his eyes had more depth. Beautiful shot. It's wonderful as NG because the trees in the background seem unlikely to be a part of this animal's natural habitat and I can see it with a story about habitats and domestication and so on. I love his expression.

The bee is moving too fast or he isn't in your focal plane. The thistle's pickers seem to be in focus but the bee is too blurry. The colors don't pop like they should either. I'm wondering what ISO this was shot in.

love the thistle but (it may just be me) the bee seems out of focus. Also a shame the bee is facing away from the lens
