The lantern makes an interesting subject. I like that the detail shows the text and crackle of the rusty bits. The red flowers are a little out of focus and feel a bit saturated creating an unncessary distraction. Nice find.

I have no clue what this actually is...but it looks discusting. Looks like skin with bloody puss filled lesions. I have to say that with that image in my head, this is not appealing at all to me. Your focus is alright, and this is definately abstract enough, but just nasty looking. Sorry. ~Heather~

Looks like a close up of the chickens from the previous challenge. You could have cropped the top spot away and get a stronger composition. Edit after your PM : I know now that it is not the chicken. It proofs it is a real abstract, being just shape, color, structure, interesting to look at and think about what it represents or what it could be, so very fitting to the challenge.
