Simplicityby trainComment by dcano: Beautiful exposure. Did you try this photo without the water drop? I am glad you chose something other than red! |

Simplicityby trainComment by LoudDog: How is this obvious use of multiple light sources and how is that use a key factor in your composition? |

Simplicityby trainComment by flip89: Simple and beautiful. Multiple light sources might not be obvious, but I am sure you used more than one. The texture of the petal and the shadows are just exquisite. I would have liked the dew to sparkle a little bit more, if you reshoot this, maybe place it just near the light and not under the shadows. But for this challenge, you got 'it.' |

Simplicityby trainComment by e301: I guess you must have used some reflector, or fill light from somehwere, to have entered this in this challenge ... but for the life of me I cannot see what that is other than what looks like one large softlight. there's also a slight feeling of the bowl of the petal drifting out of focus, just out of the focal range perhaps, almost like a wide aperture shot focussed on the nearer part of the petal; this is a shame, as the wter drop makes that area appear to be the natural catch-point of the image. 4 - mainly for not meeting challenge. |
