When my eye is drawn to the subject on the left, I wonder, "Where's the waiting?" When my eye sees the subject's reflection in the mirror, THEN I realizes the subject is pregnant. While the photographer's concept is good, it takes too long to identify the element of waiting. A more direct composition of the subject's tummy, perhaps with a calendar in the background, would have conveyed "waiting" much more clearly.

Whoa, enough with the colour processing! There's a distinct impression that there may have been a wonderful range of tones in the trees here, but the oversaturation of the nearground greens, and the bizarre turquise of the sky really distract me from seeing that. 5
