Hmmm... is that fly really purple? The coloring in this photo seem fake to me, so it doesn't do the photo much justice. I truly love the blue highlights in the flower, but the purple elsewhere is unappealing to me. Would have been better for another challenge without the purple (in my opinion).

Great composition and fine detail. It's a brilliant shot. There are parts of the birds body that does bother me. Maybe it's moiré or maybe that's how the bird was. But it does kill the full impact this image would otherwise have.

Strange looking photo, I'm presuming this is a model, although you haven't left any comments for me to go by.
As a photo in it's own right, I'm not really sure what you wanted to achieve with this shot... the use of light doesn't really inspire me here, and there is no clear point of focus. The composition seems a little haphazard. Without a photographer's comment, I'm not sure I can say a lot more about this photo!

Was this done in camera with a filter? If it was done in PS it seems rather against the spirit of the challenge. Anyone can turn something purple in PS.
Photographically, I'm not sure how much the addition of purple adds to this shot. The brownish don't make a particulalry dynamic background. A closer crop might be more striking.
