Don't forget to eat your greens!by trainComment by cghubbell: I think lighting could be tweaked to better emphasize the snails. The highlights on the leaf compete for my attention, and the detail in the background distracts somewhat as well. I don't have a specific idea because I'm no lighting guru, but it just seems that the snails are too close in visual strength to the surrounding details to make a strong subject. It is a creative idea though! |

Don't forget to eat your greens!by trainComment by caba: Very cool, these guys must be trained well, if I had one around here, I would have put a postage stamp on it for the communication challenge and called it "Snail Mail". Great work. |

All I haveby trainComment by ddng: Very interesting composition and a good idea. Perhaps a little more cropping of the top, but still a great photo. |

All I haveby trainComment by GoldBerry: It's a cool background and the idea of 'just rice' is good but the actual subject (the arms) just doesn't pull this together IMO. The light is right, I like the B&W, just not the rice-in-hands. |

All I haveby trainComment by dovey: I think you have 2 ideas here that could have either one been better as a solo representation of poverty. (The rice or the paint-pealed doorstep.)
Together it just doesn't work (IMO) It's out of context, I thought "why is that person holding a hand full of rice in front of a porch step" |
