Beautiful portrait, lighting, sharpness, composition, etc. I can guess the concern over meeting the challenge, maybe some action like playing coy with makeup, fan, goggles, or flipper would have been enough of a tie-in? Best wishes.

I don't see the 'road' here...there's nothing in the image that makes me think of her transition to womanhood or the path she has to take to get there. All I see is a picture of a girl...for this to really work for me there would have to be something that women do that girls don't and having her contemplating the choice or awkwardly taking the woman's path. The image is very nice...very sharp, nice exposure. Composition looks good...I just don't see the relation to the title/challenge.
