like this - if the child (or perhaps their reflection) was in better focus this would have been a great shot as it captures a mood really well. Good balanced composition though

when working with emotive images i find that desaturating them helps show the emotions; as long as there arent any essential colors for the composition

Nice capture of boredom. The blur and overly bright highlights on the right will probably hurt the voting on this. I think you effectively captured something here and though it falls short of perfection, you get a positive vote for what you did do with it.

Nice perspective, washed out and shutter speed needed to either be a lot higher (crisp focus) or a lot lower (more blur)

The horizon seems tilted and the foreground is too overpowering. The railing in the foreground leads the viewer's eye to the left.
