The dark spot on the face, and the white spot in the upper right take away from this photo. Nice idea, but better lighting would have made this great.

This is an excellent portrait. The depth of field is perfect so we see the child's face and the letters sharp and clear. I like your choice of black and white for this. I expect that color might have taken away from the graphic simplicity of this. My favorite in the challenge.

Tenuous connection to the challenge. There isn't much meanign behind the photograph. Maybe if she were spelling out a common phonetic word that children start off with in school (like C-A-T) there would be a stronger connection between the word and the girl. Because she has spelled 'words' it is too clearly about this challenge and not about the girl. In other words, it rings very false to me.

Nice angle, pretty little model... The only thing that I would have changed would be perhaps to have her spell out something else... her name "Isa" like the title... or "me" or something cute, like "love you mommy (or daddy!)"

Still, this is a very nice photograph and I can certainly see how it fits the challenge (some entries are rather obscure!) :)

The light on the table near the top of the frame is a little bright, and her right eye is just a little dark. Other than that, this is awesome ... 9
