I guess, that an ant is a hidden treasure? Or maybe this ant is looking for a hidden treasures inside the flower? The background is a bit distracting - strong and tilted horizon line is competing for viewer attention with the flower. I guess, close up on the ant and tighter frame would help. Good luck :)

Not voting, but this caught my eye. Wish it were bigger, but the composition is original. Beautifully conceived and executed. Nice!

This shot just doesn't work for me. The tilted horizon, graininess, and tight crop leave me a bit disoriented. I think a different edit could have made this alot more exciting. 5

You found a treasure allright but I've never seen a flower like that on a beach? I might be out of the park here but I think this treasure was "planted". Maybe its not even a beach. /me waits for egg on face.
I found the skewed horizon and OOF flower too much for me enjoy the shot.

Interesting photo. Looks grainy though.

Shallow depth of field helps to highlight the flower. It also has very nice tonal range. It is not a flat image in other words. I feel a lot of B&W images seem to get converted as a last resort to salvage a photo. This does not appear to be the case here. The graininess may be due to high ISO value but it adds a neat film grain look to the image. Nice Job!

Not sure what to make of this photograph. The little ant is a nice find, the tilted horizon works here, the tones are a little flat, and the overall feel is like something out of the twilight zone. Don't see a strong tie to the challenge, but close enough. 6
