Lillian Night Skyby asamiteComment by Paul: I'm sorry for assuming this was a 'crazy crop', I'm pretty sure that panoramic images from multiple captures are outside the rules:
You may not combine captures of different scenes, move or change a feature between frames, or combine different captures to create a new scene
So because of that I had assumed this was a crop.
I was one of your 2s, but I did leave a comment. I still think this is a crazy aspect ratio to submit when the maximum dimension is just 800px though.
I'm not going to ask for this to be validated, but you might want to flag it to the SC for your own peace of mind.

Lillian Night Skyby asamiteComment by asamite: I don't think that comments are seen during voting and maybe they should. Everyone talked about the crop of this photo, but it wasn't really a crop at all. It was a pano that didn't live up to the full potential due to changes in the clouds. Thanks for the comments to those who commented. I do hope that in the future DPC implements some rule that forces anyone giving 4 or less to leave a comment. At least 3 or less. that would have given me 45 comments at minimum to understand those points of view. |

Old Toolsby asamiteComment by Yo_Spiff: Nice and clear, though I think it would have helped it to have the tools either all the way in the sun, or all the way in the shadows. |

Old Toolsby asamiteComment by HarveyG: Shot fits challenge perfectly. Shooting in split light makes for incorrect exposure unless you go for manual and do more during PP with curves and levels. More of the shot should be in focus, especially the front goggles and nails. |
