I don't know where the illusion is. I can only see a snapshot that has no emotional connection to the viewer unless they know the subjects.

the photo doesn't give me the sense of an illusion. there may BE an illusion, but without the title, it's just a photo of a boy and his dad fishing. I'm guessing that the 'illusion' is that there's really no fishing line? lighing is a bit dark on the front side of the people. focus seems ok, but we really can't see much detail in anything. dad's face is dark, the boy is quite small within the photo, the fishing pole doesn't really have any detail . definately a cute photo for a family album. ~Heather~

This one does not meet the challenge no matter how far you stretch it, IMHO. Looks like it was just a snap-shot, and the processing couild have been a lot better. A lot should be cropped off the top as well....3
