Very nice fountain.
I noticed there were trees in the background. I don't know if they'd've fitted the shape, but it might have been nice to have the black of the tree frame the shape of the fountain itself. I find the trees in the background distracting as they are I'm afraid.

Your sharpening approach has played havoc with the church bricks - has become unattractive as a result. Also light is not ideal - nice evening light, but not lighting the main area of the photo.

This got a 5 from me.

The crop has a lot of dead space in it that do nothing for the photo. The image also seems to lack sharpness in the subject. You could have easily cropped behind the player some and just to the left of the ball. I can't say anything about the game as I have no idea of how the game is played to know if the play is an important one or not. If possible you might have moved to your left to try and get the tree out of the background.
