It is a blue marble in a pudding bowl with a rippled texture, set on a watercolor (done by a artist friend) and lit from the bottom (between the watercolor and the bowl).

Fractions of lightby LouisonComment by LucidLotus: This has a rather abstract look to it which I tend to like, but I find this image too dark. The colors which look like they are fantastic are too muted by the darkness, they barely get a chance to shine. The focal point, where the light is showing in the bottom corner does highlight that wonderful bluish green well. The focus looks good as is the use of space. I just find the overall composition a little bland because of the darkness. 4 |
