Longaberger Basket Main Office Buildingby Keith_WComment by Bear_Music: Gawd I love this building. I've always loved this building. You may know I spent my working life as an Architectural Photographer, or you may not, but anyway I love stuff like this.
It's a decent POV, the light's just mediocre of course, but I'm sure you're aware of that and had no control over it. FINE subject, about as bizarre as architecture of the corporate variety can get :-) |

no titleby Keith_WComment by Louis: I see an attempt at metaphor with this image. I dislike forced metaphors, and therefore can't appreciate this image, certainly not as fine art. Technically, a levels fix might have made it stand out more, and b/w might have made it haunting, as would framing this from further away. You're on track with the composition, but something to suggest what this is all supposed to mean -- such as starkness or loneliness, and thus a larger area of white space around the subject -- would have enhanced. |

no titleby Keith_WComment by MinsoPhoto: Originally this was a low vote from me but now that I have revisited it I like how it seems to be coming out of my screen and hanging down. A pretty cool effect. I also like the use of negative space. Bumping this vote up a bit now. |
