At the end of the world by Alex_PetriniComment by MelonMusketeer: Well done! The choice of lens angle and point of view combined to make the most of the ramp or extension of the long dock, where it goes out into the sky. With the star trails it makes a grabber of an image. Your attention to all the elements in this shot shows in the result, and the ribbon.
The D7000 is an impressive camera too. Congrats on the ribbon, and on the new hardware.
If you are just out shooting JPG, try a night shot using "incandescent" or "Tungsten" white balance, and the sky will be a lovely blue. When shooting RAW, it can be done in processing. The orange in this one is great for the effect that it's at the "End of the World". |
