It's like Storm Thorgerson meeting intimate photography.
I find it very moving.
Sometimes is good to have little time and only one shot, if we put in all we have got, seemingly effortlessly.

nice pose, and tones I like how the strand of pearls leads me around the picture. The shallow depth of field doesn't work well for me on this shot. I may have gone even tighter with the framing cutting off the top of her hair as I think it would add tension.

Under close inspection I can see the Speedo. My first impression was a man walking into the ocean fully dressed with a cane. Anyhow, I love the light and the water detail.

intriguing composition, with small isolated elements distant from each other on two planes. the man in the water with what seems to be a cane adds some Surrealism to the mix. even though there is a horizon, it's all the same color, so the background is rather flat, emphasizing the isolation of each element. good image.
