For some reason I predict a ribbon. I think that's my favorite in the challenge. Very cool atmosphere, nice composition, and I love the dog's eyes and expression. Nice night story as well.

I was really happy to see this photo on the front page with the other feasts. I think it's an important contrast that needs to be represented. Too many forget that a big Thanksgiving feast doesn't come so easily to all. To the absurdity of the pea, I think it's perfect. Interestingly, I don't think the image would have worked as well with no pea on the plate. I also don't think showing someone eating a PB&J sandwich would have worked either.

Fantastic image. I'm glad you entered it, and especially glad it did so well as to be seen by all, every day, on the front page.
