I love the mood created...this is a tad bit over processed for my taste. I don't really see falling apart in this image...could be because it looks dark on my monitor. I would like this more if I could see more of the details in the room.

Guessing youre using a UV transilluminator to excite the fluorescent proteins? Know you can do this with GFP, never tried with RFP or YFP.

When he finished the washing-up, Dave would stare achingly at the bubbles in the sink, remembering his happier days. The reflections reminded him of bright days at sea with his ship breaking through the waves leaving a trail behind it. Occasionally he'd see the reflection of his wife and remember how she'd taken him away from the sea and away from his freedom. Just another 4 hours until he filled the bowl again and made another set of bubble memories.
