Soir d'automneby keyzComment by RamblinR: This is an interesting image but viewing it in the context of being a centered composition, I find that the part that draws my eyes is the lighting in the leaves and this is making it more of a split composition. The darkness has not worked for this subject IMO. |

Gate to parallel worldby keyzComment by ti_evom: Tough high contrast shot to work with. Guessing you tried to hand-hold this and didn't use a tripod. Can't tell if you opened the aperture all the way up for such a distant shot, but you probably should have stopped it down quite a bit more and used a tripod. The detail is severely lacking. |
