Initial impression: Very clean, professional-looking shot. Good work.
Technical: Appreciate the detail you put into explaining the set, helps me see what you planned to do. Really like the lighting, comp and the leading lines here. Surprised that you shot at 1/800 - quite fast for a stationary studio shot! Even handheld, with a VR reduction lens (I have the 18-200) at 1/60th you probably would have been fine in terms of focus.
Artistic: More of a straight studio shot than one endeavouring to tell a story. However, it's very straightforward and simple, and I strongly believe in less being more. And I'm not the only one who likes the chain emerging from dots of light :-)
Overall: Well done on a high finish in this challenge. I like the fact that you did very little if any pp. Keep doing what you're doing. And don't be afraid to put a tripod to work!
