Rusty Linkby svellutComment by whagerbaumer: I like the green tie and the composition. The image is startling and disturbing.
I would have preferred strongly a more attractive choice of subject matter.

Gravel or paving stone ?by svellutComment by svellut: To give the answer to the title this is of course not a paving stone. In fact this is small stone blocs +/- 1.5cm coming from Palestin and use for mosaic in antiquity. |

Gravel or paving stone ?by svellutComment by spudart: interesting composition on the rocks. But i would like to see it all in focus. There isn't enough area for me to give the primary focus here. |

Gravel or paving stone ?by svellutComment by melismatica: Without the title I would have assumed these were paving stones so I'm not sure how successful this is in terms of meeting the challenge. The title should not be doing the work of the photograph.
On its own merit this image doesn't work for me. There isn't anything particularly pleasing in the arrangement of the stones and only one of them is focus which leaves most of the picture plane wasted. |
