My one comment is that it looks like you did some "funny" editing on that water lillie bud. It looks different to the rest of the image and, to me, sticks out. If you haven't edited it and that's what it looks like, maybe you should ;-)

Amethyst Sunbird II v2 (PAW 3/52)by HarveyGComment by nam: OK so I am waiting for you to come back and enlighten us :) Looks as if it's in flight to me and also right side up. Lovely motion blur on the wing and nice sharpness on the head area where we want it most. |

Amur Falcon v2 (PAW 1/52)by HarveyGComment by jomari: Wonderful clear capture! I prefer this crop as he has somewhere to fly, but the advantage of the other crop is in bringing up the size of the bird. |

Amethyst Sunbird II v2 (PAW 3/52)by HarveyGComment by ursula: At first I thought the bird was in flight, but then realized it was hanging on to some sticks and either landing or getting ready to fly away (or just flapping their wings - do they do that?)
I tend to like the darker version better, maybe because I'm looking at it on an iPad and the lighter version looks too bright.
