I love it. Awesome. I have a fondness for the environmental portraits. The close ups are great, but they all start to look the same after awhile.

It's interesting that the spots on the birds head look like eyes at this angle.

Nice job getting such a great close up of the bird. I love the sharpness of the bird and the buttery background. I take it that the spot on the wing is a little blown spot?

I like the BG a lot. Just that little bit of variation in colour really does it for me. And looking at detail, the small lichen on the branch is a nice touch too :-).

You should be really pleased with this one.
