Love the BIF did it bash the fish on the branch . Have a mother and baby sequence where the mother is teaching the baby how to handle a frog .

It is a pity so much feather detail was lost but overall it is an excellent capture. I particularly like the slight motion blur of both bird wings and the head details of the raptor is great. I enjoy photographing birds too and can really appreciate the uniqueness and difficulty of the capture. For these reasons I would have given this a 7 in the challenge.

I had the same thought - indeed it wasn't until I read Ann's comment that I realized the white wasn't around his eyes. And it took a moment for the fish to register - I first thought beak and then how on earth LOL Intriguing from the get-go, even better once I had it all sorted out.

I don't know how I missed this one either, Harvey. It's quite lovely - especially with that golden background to set off his sharp black and white coloring. Nice capture.
