I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Lovely moment - a real contrast between indoor and outdoor worlds - the warm interior juxtaposed with the pondering pigeon works so well. The sub-text of food to be had and the pigeony obsession with scavenging offer some resonace too.

Critical stuff: Not really

Overall: Eclectic and well-presented. I like it.

Ha! I love it! The early bird has come to shop! I take it he was the first at the door for Black Friday sales:-) Love how the gull is standing there peering into the store - I'm sure he would love all the edible goodies pictured in the posters on the windows. Great find and great capture.
