I don't know how this didn't do much better, I thought it was really well done! The DOF was superb so I'm really surprised this didn't get in the upper 5's.I gave it an 8 if that's any consolation.

This is one of those that probably works better larger. The DPC size limitations can really hurt some shots. You've probably noticed that voters, on average, don't like grain - at least not lots of grain. Doesn't mean you shouldn't use it - do so when you like it and when it works for the shot and when you don't care all that much about the score. Do make sure you spell your titles correctly - that can put off a voter before they even see the shot (it's "lose" not "loose", unless you're accusing her of being a loose woman, in which case it would be YOU'RE LOOSE or something like that.)

Awww. very cute. great color too. Seems a little noisy in some spots and theres a weird light spot in the upper lefthand corner. otherwise very nice though.

Color is over the top. Maybe it's the resizing for web but I don't think the background elements are all that sharp and focused.
