Reminds me very much of a video still. What an excellent and scary submission! Even the dab of compression simply adds to its quality as a spooky video capture. The girl's expression is menacingly unconcerned.

Excellent choice of background. What could have been a confusing all-in-view line of pearls have been distinctly separated by smart use of aperture. Even the twinkly colours all round the metalwork are very pleasing, complementary and not distracting.

I like this shot very much, but I think this may have worked better with just a little bit more depth of field - maybe enough so that more of the blade and perhaps the chunk of apple was in focus with the rest blurred. As it is, it looks more out of focus than anything else beacuse the tip of the knife is not prominent enough to stand by itself as the focus of the image. I like the composition though.

A very clever play on the subject. Well conceived and executed. I like how the edje starts in focus and then blurs into the apple slice.

I fnd this a rather interesting photo. I like the unsharp apple coupled with the sharp edge of the razor.....at first I almost wanted to say the apple was too out of focus and I found it distracting, but now think it is the apect that intrigues me the most...
