Very nice closeup of a feather. The ridges or strand of the individual textures of the feather was captured beautifully. Love the great colors. The shadows and the highlights helps to bring out the details.

More like black and pink and yellow. A pretty selection of flowers, but the black becomes pretty much irrelevant as background.

If I remember correctly the description for the challenge said a black object. Other than that I like the contrast between yellow, white, and black, makes the flowers stand out. You could have positioned them better, being in the middle of the frame doesn't help much. The lighting on that bottom flower is a little too dark, some light would help it come out more, unless you wanted it to be dark.

I think this is a kite? A tricky shot to capture so well done but I would have liked to feel more powerfully the element you were portraying - air. There is little movement or feel for it. For all the viewere knows this might have been shot against a carpet or something.

Actually doesn't communicate much sense of texture to me - perhaps the way you've poushed the levels and contrast don't allow for that sense of fine detail that would do that. It's an interesting and very assured photo, don't get me wrong, but leaning a touch too much towards the graphic (and therefore two dimensional), than the photogrphic, if that makes sense.
