An 8 track, oh my god. But seriously, the background and lighting are more interesting than the 8 track, which looks out of place. You may have done better without the 8 track, and just leavin the tiedied background as well lit as you have it.

Without the title, I don't think I'd understand this picture. Photographically good, although I believe I would have cropped in closer in to eliminate most of the open space on the left.

I would say "binds" rather that "bridges". A progression, a passage, a uniting - but not a transition from one dimension to another.

Update in 21.02.2005:
In MY opinion, the picture needs better lighting to make the man look more appealing to the viewer, not just to the photographer.
The shadow in the background does not look very good in to MY eye. Colors could be adjusted.
The composition is very good.
The picture has a lot of potential as it is and the idea is superb and very distinctive.

There are a lot of very good pictures in this challenge. This could certainly have been one of them.
