I like the image, especially the tree roots showing at the bottom, but the sepia tone is too brown and dark IMO. It gives it a dark and muddy feel, but since the creek is muddy, maybe that's what you were going for?..

A great shot. I love the perspective and colors. I have a major critique however, and I will likely be the only one to notice it.

Your file size is only 47k when you could have used up to 150k. This indicates a lot of JPEG compression, which is taking a lot of detail out of your photo. I can clearly see compression artifacts in the sky around the edges of the cowling and propeller. Check the JPEG compression settings in your image editor and always try to save as close to the limit for a challenge as you can get it without going over. the photo itself is still great and it gets a 7 from me, but would have been an 8 or 9 without the compression problem.

I like this a lot. I think it might have more impact if it were cropped tighter with the center of the flower further to the left and the pedals outside the frame.
