Yellow-crowned Night Heron! Gorgeous bird, nice composition and detail. Not as contrasty as some other shots; might've cropped tighter on the head for this challenge but the image is quite lovely as is.

6 - 'Aww', only a baby. Wish he/she dominated the frame more, a variation in crop likely have given this extra, in my opinion.

For some reason this looks like a young bird to me. Wonderful detail on the eye. I might have cropped a little tighter on the left so the curve of the tree he's standing on started to frame him a bit.
