Unusual perspective and composition. Lighting lets it down for me. Although I like the idea of some empty space I'm not sure the impact of that wall adds anything on this occasion.

I really like how you set this shot up, In particular I like how low to the ground the camera is, and how the dog is lying (maybe its candid :) Cute pup!
