Pure Blissby CamComment by littlegett: Off the bat the colours are a bit flat for me, it also has a strange feel as if over sharpened. I am trying to dig deep to get me an emotional feel... however it just isn't strong enough for me. |

Pure Blissby CamComment by landcamera: I understand the emotional response but I don't think this conveys extreme emotions. |

Pure Blissby CamComment by Blackbox: This reminds me of someplace near where I used to live in Texas. Really nice composition. |

Pure Blissby CamComment by jdannels: as i look through the photos in this challenge I wonder what each person's definition of an extreme emotion is. For me Bliss is not but perhaps to you it is. To me this photo needs a little more contrast, shadows and darker areas are a bit too bright. I also wonder why these two sat behind the tree, it seems like they couldn't see the water fall clearly. :) It looks like a great little hide away. Just my opinion, I am not voting just commenting.

Pure Blissby CamComment by levyj413: The problem here is that you seem to have assumed the viewer would feel whatever the women are feeling. But they're not really showing any emotion, so for me it fails to meet the challenge.
Outside the challenge, I'd suggest bumping up the contrast a bit - with a little more detail and tonal range in the water, it'd be a really nice shot. |
