I like how you've exposed this to emphasize the flowing nature of things. You might get marked down for not isolating the granules and emphasizing the granular nature of the subject, but not from me :) I do, however, think it is a little overexposed at the sand on your hands. Perhaps you should have gone with a higher f/stop here to try and retain the flowing feeling but reduce the overexposure? Apart from that, I love it...

Lot of great energy in ths shot! The halo under the knuckle in the middle says, "over-sharpened" but still a good photo. Made my top 10.
