Reykjavikby otto22Comment by GAP2012: this will be voted down due to horizon not being equally set on left and right, i like the extra wide angle and use this simalr lens and technique myself. nice! |

Reykjavikby otto22Comment by Teafran: Take this with a grain of salt if you will, but the reflected lights are very overpowering and distract from what could have been a very interesting image. |

Reykjavikby otto22Comment by giantmike: That light on the left is a cool balance to the moon.
I would suggest making sure to use a skew tool in post processing to remove the pincushion effect caused by the wide angle. |

Smoke on the waterby otto22Comment by giantmike: Beautiful scene! Great use of foreground. Throw on a graduated ND filter to reduce that highlight explosion, and you would have an even more amazing photo. |

Frozen and barrenby otto22Comment by Dennisheckman: Well "seen" and captured "scene". Top notch work. The light is great. I like to use luminosity masks to help tone light and dark areas like this image has. Tony Kuyper Tony Kuyper has a website with instructions. They work really well for situations like this. They work better than just dodging and burning. Hope I did not step out of line with posting the link. |
